So your out with the family, you take the SD card out of your camera and give it to your sister to use. When she puts the card in her camera it asks her if she wants to format it, so she says yes. In case you are the sister in this story, all the pictures that were on the card are now deleted. When an SD card is formatted all the data on it is erased. Now what do you do? If you are not on your own computer, Recuva has a portable version you can download and run from a flash drive. If your a tech geek, this is a must for your emergency jump drive. So before you call us to get those pictures back give Recuva a try. After a format of any kind stop using the card or drive as soon as you realize it has been formatted. If you continue to use it you will run the risk of overwriting the formatted data and Recuva may be unable to recover everything.
